Dr. Jack Coffey, Principal Dentist

Endodontist

Dr. Jack Coffey is a highly skilled and experienced Endodontist dedicated to preserving natural teeth through advanced root canal treatments. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision, Jack specializes in diagnosing and treating complex endodontic cases, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care in a comfortable and reassuring environment.

After earning his dental degree in 2014, Jack pursued further training in endodontics in 2018, completing his master’s qualification to refine his expertise in root canal therapy, retreatments, and microsurgical endodontic procedures. He stays up to date with the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques, utilizing cutting-edge equipment such as operating microscopes and digital imaging to achieve optimal results.

In 2023, Jack completed an Implantology course through the GSD Academy in Lisbon, allowing him to now offer dental implants to patients in Killarney Dental Clinic.

Known for his calm and professional approach, Jack takes the time to explain treatment options to his patients, helping to ease any concerns and ensuring they feel confident in their care. Whether addressing routine cases or managing complex dental trauma, his goal is to provide pain-free and long-lasting solutions.

Outside of dentistry, Jack enjoys running and has completed numerous Ultra Marathons, bringing the same dedication and focus to his personal pursuits as he does to his profession.

Dr. Emma Daly, Principal Dentist

General Dentist and Facial Aesthetics Practitioner

Dr. Emma Coffey is the co-owner of Killarney Dental Clinic. As both a skilled dentist and an experienced facial aesthetics practitioner, Emma is passionate about providing high-quality dental care while helping patients look and feel their best.

Emma qualified in 2014. Emma is known for her artistic approach to dentistry, combining her meticulous attention to detail and perfectionism with a keen eye for aesthetics. Whether performing routine check-ups or more complex procedures, Emma’s passion for precision and her ability to create beautiful, natural looking results have earned her the trust and admiration of her patients.

Emma furthered her studies in facial aesthetics in 2016, gaining numerous qualifications over the years. Her artistic touch extends to her facial aesthetics work, where she skilfully enhances her patient’s natural beauty with subtle and tailored treatments.

Emma offers a full range of general dentistry services, always prioritizing patient comfort and long-term oral health. She also provides treatments such as anti-wrinkle injections, skin enhancers and dermal fillers. Her expertise in both fields allow her to take a holistic approach to patient care, ensuring confidence in both smiles and appearance.

Outside of work, Emma is a new running convert and enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Alison Walsh, Associate Dentist

General Dentist

Dr Alison Walsh is the newest member of our practice, bringing extensive experience and a warm compassionate approach to dental care. She qualified as a dentist in 2017, earning her BDS from University College Cork (UCC). For the past seven years, Dr Alison Walsh has honed her skills in London where she built a reputation for excellence in patient care.

Dr Alison recently returned to her hometown in Kerry to be closer to family. Her keen interests include paediatric dentistry, aligners, crowns and bonding. She is particularly adept at working with children and very nervous patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease during their visits.

In addition to her BDS qualifications, Alison has completed certificates in restorative and aesthetic dentistry and Invisalign Comprehensive.

Outside of work, she enjoys staying active with hobbies such as GAA, running and yoga.

Edwina Mc Auliffe, Dental Hygienist

Edwina joined Killarney Dental Clinic in 2023. Edwina qualified as a Dental Hygienist with honours from University College Cork the same year. She has eight years’ experience working in the dental sector here in Ireland. She qualified as dental nurse in 2019, simultaneously gaining a dental radiography qualification.

She has a keen interest in treating patients with periodontal disease. She provides scale and polishes, non-surgical root debridement, periodontal and implant maintenance to her patients. Edwina also treats children and is trained to provide fissure sealants to help prevent decay.

Known for putting her patients at ease, Edwina combines professionalism with a fun and relaxed attitude, ensuring every visit is a positive experience.

In her spare time, Edwina enjoys playing football with her local team and socialising with friends.

Caoimhe Randles, Dental Hygienist

Caoimhe joined Killarney Dental Clinic in 2024. Caoimhe qualified as a Dental Hygienist with honours from University College Cork the same year. Before this, she gained her dental nursing qualification in 2023, simultaneously receiving a dental radiography qualification.

She provides scale and polishes, non-surgical root debridement, periodontal and implant maintenance to her patients, while also providing advice on oral hygiene instruction. Caoimhe also treats children and is trained to provide fissure sealants to help prevent decay.

Caoimhe has a keen interest in treating nervous patients. With a soft touch and warm personality, Caoimhe ensures that every patient feels at ease while receiving the highest standard of care. Outside the clinic, she enjoys long scenic walks and spending time with family and friends.

Anna Toomey, Practice Manager

Anna, a qualified dental nurse joined the team in 2023. Since joining the practice, Anna has gained strong one to one patient relationship skills and excellent organisational skills which has led her to be one of our most valuable team members. Anna takes on extra responsibilities, including ordering and managing stock control. Her attention to detail ensures that the practice runs smoothly, allowing the team to focus on providing excellent care to patients.

Matea Bogdanovic, Dental Nurse

Matea joined the practice in 2024. She studied dentistry in Serbia from 2017-2022, gaining strong theoretical foundation in all aspects of dental care. Matea plans to return to complete her dental studies in the near future. Matea is currently working as a dedicated dental nurse, bringing her in depth knowledge and clinical experience to the practice. Matea works alongside Dr. Emma Coffey and Dr. Alison Walsh. She assists in general dentistry and is proficient in intra-oral scanning. Matea is fluent in Russian, which greatly helps in translating and communicating to a wider range of patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and well informed during their visits.

Outside of work, Matea also teaches English at a language school. Her passion for teaching highlights her dedication to education and lifelong learning.

Svitlana Konyk, Dental Nurse

Having only joined us in 2025, Svitlana has quickly become a valued member of the team and is committed to learning and growing in the role. With a warm and caring approach, Svitlana is passionate about patient care and supporting our clinicians to ensure every visit runs smoothly and comfortably.

Whether assisting during treatments or helping patients feel at ease, she brings a positive energy to the practice. Svitlana works alongside, Dr. Jack Coffey, assisting with complex treatments such as root canal treatments, apicectomies and dental implant surgeries.

Shannon Lucey, Dental Nurse

Shannon recently joined our practice and has quickly settled in as a dedicated and approachable dental nurse. With a strong focus on patient comfort and teamwork, she ensures each appointment is as relaxed and efficient as possible. Shannon is enthusiastic about expanding her knowledge in all aspects of dentistry and takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for both patients and colleagues. We’re delighted to have her as part of our growing team.

Aisling O’Connor, Front of House

Aisling joined the practice in 2024. Based at the front of house Aisling is very often the first point of contact and prides herself on providing the highest level of support to patients during their visit. She is a very dedicated member of staff and strives to create a welcoming and reassuring environment for every patient.

Outside of work, Aisling has a strong interest in beauty, keeping up to date with the latest trends and techniques. Her passion aesthetics and attention to detail make her a great fit for her role.
